Friendly Fork Luncheon

 

Join fellow Active Adults for lunch, entertainment, guest speakers, and good conversation. Each Wednesday, lunch will be provided by The Friendly Fork: Weld County Senior Nutrition program, held in the Aspen Community Room. The cost of the meal for 60 years and older is requested at $4 and under 60 years of age at $12.

 

* Join us the first Wednesday of each month with cake and goodies to celebrate those with a birthday!

 

* Reservations are required by 10 am the Tuesday before.

 

Happy Feet Pedicures

 

Come join Sue and pamper yourself for 30 minutes on the fourth Wednesday of every other month. Sue will clip your toenails, scrub your corns and calluses and will provide a foot and ankle massage, if wanted! Registration closes at 12:00pm the Tuesday before the scheduled appointment. Cash or check only and payment is due at time of appointment. Located at the Eaton Area Community Center Party Room A.

A Matter of Balance

 

If you have concerns about falling, this award-winning program is designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. You will learn to view falls as controllable, set goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home, exercise to increase strength and balance and get up properly after a fall. Workshop meets once a week for 8 weeks on Wednesdays, March 7th – April 25th. Programmed by Weld Aging Well and Area Agency on Aging.

National Western Stock Show

 

The Stock Show is a Denver tradition which includes an entertainment arena, regular season professional rodeos, the largest horse show and Colorado’s largest western trade show. Enjoy a day of Mutton Bustin’ and rodeo cowboys. *Note: High volume of walking. Lunch cost is on your own.

Breckenridge Snow Sculptures

 

Grab your winter gear and join us as we go to the 29th International Snow Sculpture Championships in Breckenridge, CO. Teams of four from all around the world are given 65 hours through 5 days to create sculptures made entirely out of snow. Enjoy the sights of the finished snow sculptures and grab lunch at your own cost before the bus departs to return to Greeley at 2 pm. Fee includes transportation and escort. Age 50+. This Colorado family-owned business, founded in 1976 by Lyman & Linda White, offers natural, organic and imported cheeses, cured meats, specialty oils, spices, olives, chocolate, and other unique specialty foods.
