Friendly Fork Luncheon

Join fellow Active Adults for lunch, entertainment, guest speakers, games and good conversation. Each week, lunch will be provided by The Friendly Fork: Weld County Senior Nutrition program, held in the Aspen Community Room. The cost of the meal for 60 years and older is requested at $4 and under 60 years of age at $12. Reservations are required no later than the Tuesday at 10 AM.

Eaton Amblers Walking Group

 

Link together as a community as we track miles together for the winter/spring season. We will gather as a group and walk the Fitness Mezzanine track or the Community Center outdoor trail for an hour (or your choice of distance). You will receive a log to record your miles and turn them in each week. As a group, miles will be tracked on a map of the United States, with a celebration after each session.

Be Well with Diabetes Workshop

 

Become a better self–manager of your diabetes by learning to apply the knowledge you already know such as reading nutrition labels and healthy eating, preventing low blood sugar, developing an exercise program, and setting achievable goals. Rocky Mountain National Park Hike and Picnic

 

Join us on a beautiful drive to RMNP where we will hike around Bear Lake, which is about 0.8 miles in length. This moderately easy hike will be one you will not forget! After the hike, we will provide a sack lunch picnic style before heading home.

Mardi Gras Casino - Blackhawk, CO

 

Enjoy exciting action and delicious dining! Sit back and relax as a charter bus takes you comfortably up into the mountains to the Mardi Gras Casino. Each guest will receive a $5 food voucher and $5 free play on player’s card upon arrival. When you earn 200 points on that visit, you will receive another $5 food voucher. You must use your player card to earn points and receive the package. You must be 21 years or older. Meals are on your own. Transportation is included in the fee and will be picked up from EACC at 8:00 am and then head to Greeley Senior Center to pick up their participants.
