Eaton's Explorers

Eaton’s Explorers is a STATE LICENSED CHILDCARE program that provides day camp activities on no school days and during summer break for children ages 5-12. Previously only held on Thursdays throughout the summer, Eaton’s Explorers provides a summer’s worth of fun and games for all. Running for eight “themed” weeks, campers will participate in a number of different activities including weekly fields trips, assemblies, games, and much, much more. Camp will run from 9:00am-4:30pm (before and after care available upon request and approval). Space is limited and registration priority will be given to full summer registrations. Weekly and daily registrations are available if space allows.

Overview of training and selection of camp staff

Rest assured parents, Eaton’s Explorers has an amazing staff! Per state guidelines, all camp staff undergo a background check and are required to complete First Aid/CPR/AED certifications. We also utilize Mandatory Reporter and harassment training. Head Camp Counselors are either early childhood education majors, the future generation of teachers, or have had extensive summer camp background. Camp leads are comprised of other college-aged early childhood education majors, impressive EHS graduates, and responsible current EHS students. All staff members went through intensive interview processes, mandatory trainings, and love working with children!
