Personal Training

 

Are you needing motivation or accountability? Do you want to be challenged or are looking for a new challenge? Are you not seeing the results you want or not reaching your goals? Are you new to exercise or training for a sport or event? If you said yes to any of these questions, then personal training is just for you! Meet with a certified personal trainer who can help teach you how to get the most out of your workouts. Perfect for guests who are new to fitness, need a little extra motivation, accountability or guidance, those looking to lose weight or who are ready to take their workouts to the next level.

 

Personal training sessions are made by appointment only. Please register in person at the Welcome Desk.

 

* Please contact EAPRD Guest Service desk to fill out a Personal Training form as well as submit payment. Staff will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your request form. All packages are non-transferable and expire one year after date of purchase. If under 18, authorization from the Recreational Coordinator is required.

Lydia H.

Credentials: M.S. Health and Human Performance, emphasis in Corporate Wellness; B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies, emphasis Exercise Science, Nutrition and Business; NSCA – Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

 

Certifications: First Aid/CPR, R.I.P.P.E.D., TRX group trainer, Rip 60, Insanity, Piyo

 

Training Styles and Specialties: Sports performance and injury prevention; injury rehabilitation; weight loss; strength gains; aesthetics; everyday movements. Has worked with collegiate and professional athletes. She also teaches group fitness classes and has worked with numerous corporate wellness companies. She is a nationally qualified NPC Figure Competitor (2015) and was a Professional Athlete.

Stephanie P.

Credentials: B.S. Health and Exercise Science, concentration in Health Promotion. Specializing in Cardiac Rehabilitation; NSCA – Certified Personal Trainer

Small Group Training

 

Small Group Training is a fun, effective and affordable way to reach your fitness goals. One of our nationally certified trainers will lead these groups focusing on individual strength, goals, and fitness levels of the participants. If you want to lose weight, get into great shape or just become a fitter you, then take it to the next level with the guidance of a certified personal trainer. Draw from the energy of your group as you push yourself for real results. Small Group Training sessions are made by appointment only and consist of 3-5 people and prices are listed per group. Please register in person at the Welcome Desk.

Personal Training Policy:

 

Personal training in exchange for money or services is not permitted in the Community Center by anyone other than authorized EAPRD staff. Staff reserves the right to monitor workouts that appear to be commercial personal training sessions.

 

Fitness Assessments (ages 15+)

 

Meet with a certified personal trainer and quickly start a plan for achieving your fitness goals. Fitness assessments include a consultation with a personal trainer, goal setting, body fat assessment and fitness assessment. (Workout not included.) Assessments are one-hour long. Please register at the Welcome Desk.

 

Fee: DD $19/ ND $25

 

Fitness Equipment Orientation

 

Free with a membership or a daily pass, schedule a onetime session to learn the proper lifting techniques and basics of the machines. Our fitness staff will provide an orientation of the cardiovascular and Nautilus One weight machines. Orientations are 30 minutes. Please register at the Welcome Desk. (Workout program is not included.)

Youth Fitness

 

Youth Orientations (ages 11-14)

 

Meet with a certified personal trainer and learn the do’s and don't of the fitness and wellness mezzanine. Prices are for one child, with an additional $5 per additional child in the same family.

 

Fee: DD $15/ ND $19

 

Youth and Fitness Classes

 

Youth 13-14 years old are allowed to participate in cardio fitness classes with an adult 18 years or older (Zumba, Yoga, Turbo Kick, Country Heat, Barre, Core de Force) and 15 years old to participate in any high intensity classes (HIIT, Body Circuit, After Hours Toning, TRX). Children under 12 years of age or those not participating in class are not allowed in the fitness studio/activity room while class is in session.

 

Track/Cardio Equipment/Weight Machines

 

Ages 11-12 have access to the fitness and wellness mezzanine after completing the Youth Fitness Assessment and an adult 18 or older must be present at all times. Ages 13-14 have access to the fitness and wellness mezzanine after completing the Youth Fitness Assessment with a personal trainer. After completing the youth assessment, ages 11-14 must obtain a daily wrist band to gain access to the mezzanine. Please no strollers in the mezzanine.

Classes run on a monthly basis and change disciplines. There are no makeup sessions and sessions expire at the end of each month.

Maintain Don’t Gain

 

Did you know that the average American gains about 1-5 pounds each holiday season? Let EACC help you maintain or lose weight through fitness classes, personal training, and water aerobics and various events from November 12th – December 31st. Visit EACC lobby to receive your initial weigh in during the week of November 12th - November 16th. Weigh outs will be during the week of January 1st- January 4th and if you maintain your weight within 3 pounds during the holiday season, you will receive a prize!

 

Turkey Burn Challenge

 

Come and burn some calories and re-energize your batteries on Thanksgiving morning! Join us for a fat blasting workout that could burn up to 1,000 calories with strength, conditioning and stretching before your day begins. November 22nd, 7:00am-8:30am. Pre-register at the Welcome Desk.
