Summer Camp Program Director
The Summer Camp Program Director will assist in performing specialized instruction and program supervision for the Eaton Area Park & Recreation District’s State-Licensed day camp. This includes coordination of participants, organization of activities, and implementation of daily programming. Must be the point of contact for all childcare licensing requirements, including county and state requirements. Must confirm all licensing requirements for campers and staff members. The Director will work in collaboration with the General Programming & Outreach Coordinator for all administrative procedures throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall annually. The Program Director will oversee collaborating and planning much of the programming for the Eaton’s Explorers Summer Camp. The Program Director must be a minimum of 21 years of age to be Director certified. The Program Director is required to be up to date on certifications and ensure that policies and procedures are followed to maintain state licensing.
Supervision Received: | Individuals work under the direction of the General Programming & Outreach Coordinator who manages Eaton’s Explorers to carry out assigned duties, functions, and projects in both routine and complex circumstances. |

Supervision Exercised: | Supervises Summer Program Leader I/II’s and Summer Program Aides when the General Programming and Outreach Coordinator is absent. This position will also aid in supervising staff in day-to-day operations, with the General Programming and Outreach Coordinator’s approval. |

Wage Range: | $20.00 - $23.00 Hourly |
Hours/Week: | Monday – Friday ranging from 7:00am to 6:00pm, approximately 8hrs per day; schedule is subject to change |
